Home! Time for work and to regroup.

It's been a long 27 hour day but we are home. When we landed in NY we thought we loved the sound of English. However after sitting on the runway for over an hour and then enduring another five hours of flight with your stereotypical loud Americans talking non-stop we may have to reconsider.

Depending on how we sleep I don't know that we will be to work right at 8 but it is good to be home.

Thanks Julie for picking us up extra late when you have school tomorrow. And thank you Donna and Larry for the driveway and walk getting shoveled. BTW it is currently minus 6 Farenheit. And still a couple of inches of snow around the house.

Glad to hear you made it home safe. We haven't been to the sanatorium the past two days as we have been running around trying to find out the status of the boys. We pray for you every day.

Welcome Home!

The Volf's relayed that you will be going over for a second referral - we were so happy to hear that!

Don't let the system get you down. We lost two little girls - one that we met on a hosting program to an Italian family (when the SDA shut down Oct. '07 to Americans) and another to a Ukrainian family who adopted her.

We persereved and came home with two beautiful children! We understand now that these children are the ones that were meant for us all along - we just didn't see the larger plan.

Your children are over there, waiting patiently, trusting that you will come!

Happy Holidays,
The Barretts
