Well our power is out not just for the motel but as far as we can see in all directions. Since we still have internet access I'm assuming somewhere nearby has power. So with battery powered laptops and windup flashlights we have another of those Ukrainian moments like internet access on the train where the toilet empties onto the tracks below. I guess it's about time to sleep anyway.
Do po bach ne ya (Goodbye)
Arrived home with our three kids Dec 28, 2009. We have one of the longer adoption journey's that you will read about. 3 1/2 years, 4 trips to Ukraine for a total of 91 days over 14 months. Whatever the obstacles for adoptive parents the kids all need a family. The next trip is yours.

We had a manual flashlight this last trip too and it was essential as our orphanage power would go out quite frequently! We left ours with the director who seemed to need it more than we did!
